bike skills

Our summer Bike Camps offer kids the opportunity to develop overall bicycling and mountain bike skills, see a variety of terrain, explore the local trail systems, and cultivate a love for bicycling at a young age. Proceeds from our bike camps help us fulfill our mission and break down barriers to bicycling all year long.  Need-based scholarships for summer bike camps are also available.

Camp Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and Registration Changes: Kids on Bikes requires all camp cancellations and requests to change session dates to be submitted in writing via standard mail or email to mark@kidsonbikes.net.  We are happy to accommodate schedule changes, space permitting, up to 30 days prior to the start of Camp. No refunds or changes will be issued within 30 days of the camp date. Campers who repeatedly do not follow safety instructions will be asked to leave without a refund.

Need Based Scholarships

A limited number of full or partial scholarships are available and based on both need and a first-come first-served basis. Please complete the following form if you are interested in a need-based scholarship for our summer bike camps.  We will do our best to provide scholarship opportunities for those who may need one, but completion of this form is not a guarantee of receiving one. Contact Camp Manager, Mark Schenberger, at mark@kidsonbikes.net or (719)355-3573 with any questions.

We are closely and diligently monitoring the situation with COVID-19 as it relates to summer camps, our general operations, and individuals, volunteers, and staff safety, and the rest of our programs as well. We are excited to announce our registration is open and camps are starting June 1st! If you have experienced any financial hardship as a result of the pandemic, please feel free to complete our scholarship application and we will do our best to work with you on the cost of camps.Any future changes will adhere to recommendations from the CDC, state and local health departments, and be made with the health and safety of our participants, coaches, and families in mind. For the time being, our cancellation policy mentioned below still applies. In the event that your child's camp session is affected, we will offer the opportunity to switch to a later week, defer your registration to 2021, or receive a refund.
