Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will manage and assist to varying degrees multiple internal operations within the organization to include (but not limited to) fundraising, marketing, program management, volunteer coordination, and general administration. This individual is a self-generator and demonstrates the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and responsibilities while communicating effectively to all interested parties.

Head Camp Coach

The Head Camp Coach is the overall leader and director of our summer Strider, Learn to Ride, Mountain, and/or Urban Trails bike camps for kids aged 2-15. Each Head Coach will plan, implement, and manage the weekly schedule for kids’ activities, will supervise the Assistant Coach and volunteers, and will keep safety at the forefront of everyone’s mind. Approximately 16 kids will be in each session of camp with the help of 3 other assistant coaches or volunteers.

Assistant Camp Coach

The Assistant Camp Coach works directly with the Head Coach for the summer Strider, Learn to Ride, Mountain, and/or Urban Trails bike camps for kids aged 2-15. Assistant coaches will receive direction from the head coach but the assistant coaches will be responsible for leading kids independently and will coach alongside a Kids on Bikes volunteer.

Intern Position: Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will be providing support to the Operations Manager through a variety of tasks. This position is geared toward learning the overall operations in a nonprofit setting. Summer Camp Volunteer Coach

Ride with the kids at bike camp this summer. A free youth entry to bike camp is given to any adult who volunteers with us for a full week of camp.

Bike Center Volunteer Mechanic

Come work on bikes at our weekly volunteer nights. You will work alongside others to repair donated kids and adult bikes that will go into youth programs or on our retail floor.

Bike Center Retail Associate

Help at the retail center of the Bike Center. Greet customers, answer questions, stock inventory, etc.

After-School Bike Club Volunteer

2 hours per week riding your bike with elementary school aged kids in an after school bike club setting

We are closely and diligently monitoring the situation with COVID-19 as it relates to summer camps, our general operations, and individuals, volunteers, and staff safety, and the rest of our programs as well. We are excited to announce our registration is open and camps are starting June 1st! If you have experienced any financial hardship as a result of the pandemic, please feel free to complete our scholarship application and we will do our best to work with you on the cost of camps.Any future changes will adhere to recommendations from the CDC, state and local health departments, and be made with the health and safety of our participants, coaches, and families in mind. For the time being, our cancellation policy mentioned below still applies. In the event that your child's camp session is affected, we will offer the opportunity to switch to a later week, defer your registration to 2021, or receive a refund.
