The Great Bicycle Carnival

A day for family bike riding with a bicycle parade from 4 different starting locations that all end at the Popcycle Bridge with a carnival at Monument Valley Park! Wear your tutu, cape or fun costume and make a day of great family bicycling fun at the park. Bring a picnic and enjoy some music while kids participate in a fun and encouraging bike activities with their peers.
Bike parade routes will start at four different locations. You will park the car (or ride your bikes) to the starting point and then join the bicycle parade in toward the Popcycle Bridge (on the Greenway Trail just north of Monument Valley Park). Locations are subject to change.
Each parade route will be themed with fun entertainment along the way! Bike decorations and costumes are highly encouraged!

REGISTER FOR THE BICYCLE CARNIVAL
All the parade routes will converge at the Popcycle Bridge at 12:30 for a big party and popsicles. We will then roll down to Monument Valley Park (just .3 mile away) for picnicking (bring your own) and some fun carnival games.
The event is FREE! We believe in celebrating families and bicycling and want this to be a welcoming community event.
REGISTER FOR THE BICYCLE CARNIVAL
SCHEDULE:
11:00 – Arrive at your starting location (Select from 1 of 4 routes). Park wherever you find a spot at the park near your starting location. Unload bikes, kids, etc. You will ride back after the Carnival – either on your own or with a guide.
11:00-11:45 – Decorate your bike and get ready to ride (helmets are required for kids and strongly encouraged for adults)
11:45-12:30 – Ride to the Popcycle Bridge! (the rides will be guided by a KOB leader)
12:30 – Celebrate the grand opening of the Popcycle Bridge with Popsicles!
12:45 – Ride down to Monument Valley Park for picknicing, music and fun (just .3 miles)
2:00 – Carnival closes and Kids on Bikes ride leaders will guide you back to your cars at your starting location. Or you may leave at any point on your own.
