Has your child outgrown his or her bike?  Don’t want to spend a lot of money?  Then bring your bike to one of the drop off locations in town and then come to the bike exchange on December 7 between 9:00 AM-3:00 PM to pick out another bike.

It’s easy!

1) November 16-December 5, drop off your child’s bike at one of the bike donation centers (Note, this is a donation and we cannot guarantee that you will find a bike for your child at the exchange.  All left over bikes will go back to kids in need).  Drop off locations are at the following generous bike shops during their shop hours:

• Pro Cycling, 600 S. 21st Street, 80904 (hours: Mon-Sat. 10a-6p)
• Bicycle Village, 2450 Montebello Square Drive, 80918 (hours: Mon-Fri. 10a-7p, Sat. 9a-6p, Sun. 11a-5p)
• Old Town Bike Shop, 426 S. Tejon St., 80903 (hours: Mon-Fri. 9a-6p, Sat. 9a-5p)
• Criterium Bicycles, 6150 Corporate Dr., 80919 (hours: Mon-Sat. 8a-8p, Sun. 10a-6p)

2) You will be given a donation receipt and a bike voucher that you will use to exchange for a bike of similar value on December 7 at the Bicycle Exchange.

3) On December 7, go to Venetucci Farm, bring your voucher, and pick out a different bike of similar value.  Address: 5210 South US Hwy 85, 80911

4) Enjoy all the other festivities that are happening at the Farm such as Global Fat Bike Day demonstrations, a guided Farm tour, gourmet sausages, and fun races!

IMPORTANT: The bike shops reserve the full right to assign your child’s bike to a category based on assessed valued.  Consideration is given to brand, age of bike and condition of bike.  Also, no bikes will be accepted that are not in good working condition – that may mean you need to tune up your child’s bike before bringing it in.

After 1:00 PM, you may come to purchase a bike even if you have not dropped one off at the donation center.  For those who are exchanging bikes, the earlier you come, the better chances of getting the bike that you want will be!

We are also collecting donations of NEW helmets, bike pumps, bike locks and bike tubes. Please bring something in the spirit of Holiday giving!
