Urban Trails Camp
This camp is awesome for any kid who loves to ride. Riding distance and destinations vary each day as we explore the entire city by bicycle using the city’s network of bike paths and on-street infrastructure. We expose kids to various disciplines of bicycling by visiting places for mountain, BMX, and track cycling. Overall we use the bicycle as fun transportation to great places! Kids learn rules of the road, trail etiquette, and basic bicycle safety and repair. Daily riding mileage for this camp is often more than most mountain bike camps, but the terrain is usually faster rolling, so as to not be any more strenuous. While we do have certain destinations and routes in mind for rides, we always cater to the group of kids participating and can make the rides shorter or longer depending on their experience.
Common destinations include the following. You can follow the link(s) for a route overview:
- Garden of the Gods
